Why does New York Life Insurance Company need this information for employment? - new york life insurance company

I am in the recruitment of new staff in New York Life Insurance Company, and made me fill out a background check on the stock market resumed call my parents, family income and passive damping, as I live with them.

In most demanding jobs in the last 10 years and said that since I have 10 years of work, to provide information packets that include intermediate and secondary education in the last 10 years.

I do not know whether their policies or, if this norm is the norm for the lower CV. Any idea is welcome. Thank you.

It is common now for background and credit checks, it is almost impossible to get these days, referrals. Companies are afraid of being sued if they say something bad, then say nothing. This allows the owner to do extensive background checks to ensure that they do not hire a thief or other problems. For questions about income and debts, which currently consider whether you pose a security risk. If you are not experiencing financial difficulties are less likely to steal or sell the information. Many companies perform credit checks for the same reason. I think it's given a little about them to credit information from their parents because their parents do not work anymore. But I can not think of a law that would prevent this, the questions and answer, if you want the job. Good luck!

You get access to confidential information about clients, some lawyers, many of them personally, the insurance the right to know so much about you as they want. You set. Establishing the rule, and nobody move your arm to work for them.

The passive income and do not feel are standard. I do not know what it. Never ask when I go to work. In the last 10 years of experience or training, yes, this is standard.
